Raoul Fozeu is currently SABLE FC team’s captain. He is 14years old and is a young talent of this sport. He resides in BATIÉ, where he is devoted and focused to stick to his decision.
He describes his life in the city of Douala as an adventure, and as precaution to this Noël had vowed to stay away from bad company in all its forms. According to Raoul Fozeu, football is his only recourse out of misery and suffering. As such, he found in his life that he wanted to become a professional soccer player because of his family’s situation as push factor. It is not appropriate and therefore, only football can be a resort.
“For me, football represents 80% of my life because even the work I do is thanks to football. I say big thanks to the eternal God because he gave me a child who looks like me on this side. As you can see, he is my twin in football. So, if there is a possibility, do not hesitate to invest in him because you will not regret”.
“I noticed this talent in him at the age of three, I observed at this point that he was already touching the ball with his left foot. Knowing that I was left-handed myself and I knew what I was, I understood that he had to play football”. Says Raoul Fozeu’s father who was also a good footballer in the city of Douala.
Noël’s father had given much priority to his son’s education as much as he could and now, there’s some bright light at his heart because he can’t wait to see his son become professional soccer player.
Now that Francis Ngannou is pushing my team forward and with the program he has activated in SABLE FC, I see that the young people are much more fortunate and I also see that the project is much more based for us youths because he relies a lot on young people like me and my teammates”.
“Now that I am the captain of SABLE FC, my first objective is to reach the elite one. It seems to be too far but we will go step-by-step. So, this year, my teammates and I, we’ll put all the mindset that it takes to get to SUPER D2. At SUPER D2, we will continue with the same fighting spirit because I see the team we have now is a very good one”, says Raoul Fozeu despite the difficulties.
As well as being prepared, Raoul Fozeu is perhaps positionally excellent, he had long been aware of the fruits of hard work for the team’s effort. As individual activity, Raoul Fozeu makes use of private training moments in solitude, to make sure he has a greater potentiality in contributing to the team’s effort.
